Multi Selecting Related Object - Custom Objects and Junction Objects EX02_07

To create a custom object, go to

Settings > Build > Create > Objects New Custom Object

This example requires two custom sObjects

• the account group, 
• and the junction object between an account group and an account

Setting up Account Group Custom Object

Label Field: EX02_07AccountGroupCustomObject

Plural Label Field: EX02_07AccountGroupCustomObjects

Select the starts with vowel sound box

Leave rest of the defaults as is and click save 

Setting up Junction Object

Label Field: EX02_07AccountGroupJunctionObject

Plural Label Field: EX02_07AccountGroupJunctionObjects

Select the starts with vowel sound box

Leave rest of the defaults as is and click save

Creating master-detail relationship for the account group

On the resulting page, scroll to "Custom Fields & Relationships" and click on the NEW button

Under step 1, choose Master-Detail Relationship and click on the NEXT button 

Under Step 2, choose the EX02_07AccountGroupCustomObject and click NEXT button

Under Step 3, leave the defaults as is and click NEXT

Under Step 4, leave the defaults as is and click NEXT 

Under Step 5, leave the defaults as is and click NEXT 

Under Step 6, leave the defaults as is and click SAVE

Creating master-detail relationship for the account

On the resulting page, scroll to "Custom Fields & Relationships" and click on the NEW button

Under step 1, choose Master-Detail Relationship and click on the NEXT button 

Under Step 2, choose the Account and click NEXT button

Under Step 3, leave the defaults as is and click NEXT

Under Step 4, leave the defaults as is and click NEXT 

Under Step 5, leave the defaults as is and click NEXT 

Under Step 6, leave the defaults as is and click SAVE

Custom String Container Class

Next create the custom string container "EX02_07StringContainer"
